Zillycakes provided us with the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake we could have imagined. They were absoulutely wonderful to work with-Zilly and Shannon went above and beyond to ensure we had exactly what we wanted. After listening to what we wanted, they offered thier insight and suggestions which made the whole process stress free. The cake itself was amazing-beyond beautiful-the attention to detail was phenomenal. It was so delicious...incredibly moist and the flavors were unbeliveable. We continue to receive compliments on it. We cannot thank Zilly, Shannon and all the staff enough for making the day even more special with the perfect cake...

Zilly made a wonderful wedding cake for us. All of the guests commented on the flavor(White Velvet Lavendar) and how unique it was. The cake was moist and the ganache filling was excellent.

My wedding cake was the talk of my wedding! everyone loved it! We had a four tier cake with buttercream frosting with alternating layers of red velvet and white velvet lavendar. Zilly made beautiful fondant ribbons and bow's for around the tiers that looked exactly like real ribbon. I bought beautiful brooches that matched my shoes and bracelet for the middle of the ribbon. It was absolutely fabulous! My guests loved it so much they ate my entire cake even the top tier we were suppose to take home! I couldnt believe it! the cake fed 170 people and we only had 135 show! I would recommend Zilly cakes to anyone! Zilly and her team were amazing and the cake was even better!

Zillycakes is AWESOME! I believe Shannon made my wedding cake and did an AMAZING job. She knew exactly what I wanted and stayed within my budget. I make sure I go into their shop atleast once a month to sample their cupcakes. YUM! =)

Zilly made cupcake centerpieces for us and then a giant cupcake for us to cut...she had never done anything like this before and was willing to take on the challenge. They turned out great and we very pleased and everyone was talking about them....they looked good and even tasted better especially the large cupcake she made for us with the espresso filling....so good...Zilly is awesome

The Best cake ever! I got more compliments on the unique cake flavors and how it wasnt just boring vanilla or chocolate. We recommend red velvet and white lavender cake. All are really good, you are able to try them all and the frostings when you have a tasting. There is a cost though for that, I believe it was $25.00. well worth it-you can take leftovers home.

We really enjoyed working with Elizabeth (Zilly). She was very professional but also had a quirky creativity about her that we just loved. She captured my dream wedding cake perfectly! This was the easiest part of planning the Wedding!!! Zillycakes made it so easy and relaxing. No pushing to sell their products... they know their products are great and they are very organized and up front about all charges!!! Thank you for being so great and headache and stress free!!!

I contacted Zilly only a few weeks before my New Year's Day wedding, and she came through for me, even though it was an extremely busy time for her. Being an architect, I would have loved to design a cake with her, but didn't have time so I selected one from her website -- the Ruffle Cake -- and had it done with fresh flowers to coordinate with my bouquet. Zilly was amazing, very responsive and personable; she worked with my florist and they both came on my wedding day to deliver and set up the cake and flowers. All my guests agreed it was the most beautiful and best tasting cake they'd ever had. I didn't have a lot of guests so had plenty of leftovers -- I took some to my office and everyone raved about it. I hope I have another opportunity to hire Zilly again and create something new next time!

Zilly did our cupcakes which tasted phenomenal. Our initial meeting with her was very comfortable. She is very personable and open to different ideas. She had a number of different flavors that really appealed to us, even a vegan option! I will go with her again.

I chose to come here because I was at a wedding where the couple had them for their wedding cake and I was so pleased by the taste and look of their cake. When it came time for our cake to be designed, they were very helpful narrowing it down. The end product was to die for. I was so happy that my photographer took tons of pictures of it. The taste, well it was OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!! I don't know what their secret is but its good!

We used Zillycakes for our wedding "cake" which instead was a cupcake tower. We met with Zilly for a tasting and she made us feel comfortable right away. The tasting was amazing and we ended up choosing to have 5 varieties of cupcakes for our tower. With all the trimmings and flavors and colors that we wanted, she charged us $2 per cupcake, which I thought to be very reasonable and the quality of the cupcakes were out of this world. Once we put down the deposit, we were promised sketches within 2 weeks but didn't get the sketches until about 3 weeks after the deposit. Then when we needed to sign the final contract I found it difficult to get a hold of anybody, which did start to make me nervous. Zilly finally called and said that she was going through some staff changes and was behind in her paperwork. Since Zilly runs her own shop on Elmwood Ave and her catering is not her sole business, I completely understood. But I will say that even 1 month before the wedding I found the responsiveness to be slow, however, once she started the baking and prep the week of the wedding, she called several times and didn't make any decisions without my ok. The cupcakes were outstanding. I think they were a huge hit of the wedding itself. Our photographer took literally 20 photos of the tower itself. The guests loved every flavor - we only ended up with about 10 leftover, which we gladly ate in the next week. The tower did come with small cakes at the top that we could cut at the reception and then freeze for our anniversary. We were extremely happy with Zilly, her staff, and her cupcakes!

Zilly was incredible! She took this crazy idea I had for a cake made out of stacked mini cupcakes, and made it happen! I gave her my idea, and in her store, started playing around with some day-old cupcakes to see if it would work. She made some computer sketches for me, and I was so thrilled with the result! The cake was so delicious, so beautiful, so unique, and exactly what I pictured in my head!

I could not be happier with the choice we made they were great. Instead of having to choose one of their standard cakes they worked with us to put together something that fit what we wanted. If you want something more then your generic wedding cake go zilly

Zilly ROCKS! She is an amazing cake baker AND artist!! The cake was beautiful and delicious!!!! All of our guests loved the look and the taste. We highly recommend her!!

I loved my wedding cake. The only issue we had was it fell apart within 15 minutes because of the humidity. The owner Zilly Rosen came back right away with 2 new layers and fixed the cake but it still wasn't going to stay because of the humidity. It was exactly what I wanted but I wish it would have been up longer.
