We hired Lindsay as our day-of-coordinator (DOC) because we were having a wedding at husband's parents' house, so there was nothing included like might be at a regular wedding venue. Because of this, we knew we needed someone to organize things on the day of the wedding because all the people close to us would be busy participating. So we hired Lindsay as the DOC but her services helped for much more than the single day. We met with her three times before the wedding to discuss what would happen and she reminded us of things we hadn't thought of and so she could get straight what she needed to do. We were planning from out of town and she was very accommodating to meet with us on the few days we were in town. She also ran the wedding rehearsal which was SO helpful, I don't know what I would have done if she hadn't run that. And on the day of she was at the venue early in the morning helping my husband set up the area and running back and forth between there and my hair appointment. She also brought an assistant who was helpful as well. In the weeks before the wedding she called the vendors to make sure they were on the same page as well. Anyway, if you haven't caught on yet, she did lots of work and just helped the day go very smoothly. She did a great job and I'm sure she would do great for your wedding too!
