Susan, allowed my husband and I are to design our cake. It looked beautiful, everything we wanted and more. She also gives u plenty of extra cake. Still trying to finish it.

Susan was so patient and helpful in helping us choose the perfect cake for our perfect day. Her home was so inviting and you can tell that she has a passion for what she does. Her response to our questions were fast and the cake was really good.

The cake was delicious and beautiful, and Susan was very nice and paid attention to what we wanted in the cake. We got a lot of compliments!!

We sat down and sketched out the plan in great detail right in her living room. Less than two weeks before the event and after her own design deadline, she let me know that we still need to design the cake. I explained that we had but she had lost it!! I scrambled to send her a drawing of the design. I busted out my Crayola's and thankfully it got to her in time. I was surprised she didn't call sooner if she thought she didn't have it. Then we had payment issues. I sent her the final payment and she cashed the check but didn't record it. She then cashed my deposit check in addition to the payment and we had to get all of that ironed out as well. She said this doesn't usually happen to her but I don't know what was going on. The cake was delicious and was a good price. However, the design was not that well executed and there were cracks in the frosting (not fondant). I didn't notice on the big day but when I looked back at the pictures I was upset.

Susan’s work is amazing. I admit, at first when I entered her home to discuss our wedding cake, I left another vendor at a place of business warned about women who do cake business’ out of their home. Susan was different…. Her home clearly had a cake coordinating area with example cakes everywhere. The pictures she provided of past cakes were great, and her pricing was very competitive. Especially for a cake designer who only schedules one wedding at a time. She has a back up incase of an illness, and has fake cakes she can use incase of a disaster. I knew she would be perfect when she said, “But I don’t allow anyone to touch my cakes.” The importance of perfection was a great thing to tell this bridezilla. She listened to our needs and combined different styles she has done before to create our own special cake. Mine is on page 5 of her website the second from the top! Perfect for our fall wedding. In summary, you can’t go wrong with Susan. Her attention to detail and competitive pricing is perfect for your wedding.
